MAS/Sigma Xi 2008 Annual Meeting was held April 11 & 12, 2008 at Montana Tech. 

Award winners were:

  • Mershon Award: Geroge McRae (U.Montana)

  • Science Mentor of the Year: Marisa Pedulla (MT Tech)

  • Best Undergraduate Poster (two): Jarred Rensvold (MSU-Billings)& Angela Schlenker (UM-Western)  

  • Best Graduate Student Poster: Trideep Rajale (U.Montana)

  • Best Post-Doctoral Poster: Arlene Alvarado (MT Tech)

  • Best Graduate Student Oral Presentation(two): Joshua Pulst (MT Tech) & Matt Shipman (MSU-Bozeman)

  • Brumley Family College Scholarship for “Best Research Scientist”: Shaun A. Tauck (MSU-Bozeman)
